Join Mr. Alec Bierbauer for an upcoming talk on his book, Never Mind We’ll Do It Ourselves, a firsthand account of the origins of the Predator drone program and the dawn of unmanned warfare.  The event will include an opportunity for participants to have a conversation with an expert in technology innovation, counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations, and interagency teambuilding.  This lecture is free and open to the public.

About the Speaker:

Alec Bierbauer is the CEO of BlackRock Strategy, LLC, an international risk management and advisory consultancy.  Alec spent a lifetime conducting counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations in venues ranging from Bosnia to Yemen and Afghanistan.  With an emphasis on integrating emerging technologies into high-risk special programs, Alec was the CIA’s point man in the development of the Predator program.   He has vast U.S. government and international corporate experience conducting and managing operations worldwide in complex scenarios.  Alec is a Penn State graduate and resides in Huntsville, Alabama.
