From Dear Old State to U.S. Department of State: Perspectives from Alumnae Leaders in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy
March 14, 2023 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Penn Staters are making an impact all over the world, especially in foreign policy and diplomacy. Join us during Women’s History month to hear from Penn State alumnae who have built successful careers strengthening our nation’s international relationships through their roles at the U.S. Department of State. Learn what it’s like to work in diplomacy, what skills helped them to excel in their careers, how they leveraged their Penn State degrees, and what it’s like to have a career in foreign affairs.
The U.S. Department of State hires individuals with a wide range of expertise beyond political science and international relations. If you have an interest in foreign affairs or diplomacy, whether you’re a biologist or sociologist, humanist, or engineer, join this event to learn more about these exciting careers.
The event is open to all graduate students and members of the Penn State community with a Penn State email address.
Visit the event webpage to learn about the panelists and to register. Hosted by the Penn State Graduate School.
