The third annual Energy Days conference will be held this year on May 30 and 31 at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. Energy Days was created in an effort to convene the energy expertise of Penn State and develop partnerships to help improve the affordability, sustainability, and security of energy in the future. The conference is open to the public and is free for Penn State students, faculty, and staff.

Keynote speakers include Edward Mazria (Wednesday’s dinner keynote) and Steven Winberg (Thursday’s lunchtime keynote). President Eric Barron and VP for Research Neil Sharkey will also be speaking at the conference.

Energy Days aims to build networks of professionals from all areas of the energy sector. To assist in this effort, the conference has two sets of Breakout Sessions designed to create new partnerships that provide results and innovative solutions.

Additionally, day one activities will feature Lightning Talks and a Poster Session, featuring breakthrough research at Penn State. (Posters are being accepted through May 25.)
