Panel Description: Industry and government stakeholders certainly aren’t the only actors moving the needle forward in the Artificial Intelligence space. Academic institutions such as universities and research centers are home to some of the most innovative research in GEOINT AI. From tackling humanitarian issues like climate change and global health, to supporting the Army’s One World Terrain project through modeling and simulation, to leading the ICESat-2 missions, these panelists represent a wide range of cutting-edge GEOINT AI research. Learn how leaders in academia both support government and industry and blaze their own trail in geospatial artificial intelligence.
